Planning has been approved to transform a former treatment works site in the West Yorkshire area in to a mixed employment development to be created to address the local shortage of new employment space.

The site lies within the designated Regeneration Area as defined in the Kirklees Urban Development Plan (UDP) and represents an ideal location for the creation of new business units to allow local and regionally based businesses to stay and expand within the area

The disused Bradley Treatment Works site, accessed off Station Road in Kirklees, has consent to be redeveloped into a self-contained circa 35,000 sq ft industrial park comprising a range of industrial units from 1,250 sq ft upwards. The site sits within an existing industrial location, between new industrial developments to the South West and North East, with Bradley Junction Industrial Estate to the North.
