Planning has been approved to transform a former treatment works site in the West Yorkshire areas in to a mixed employment development to be created to address the local shortage of new employment space.
The site lies within the designated Regeneration Area as defined in the Kirklees Urban Development Plan (UDP) and represents an ideal location for the creation of new business units to allow local and regionally based businesses to stay and expand within the area
The redundant Colne Bridge Treatment Works site, which is accessed off Colne Bridge Road, can now be transformed into some 40,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation over 9 units of varying size from 1,950 sq ft upwards designed for small to medium businesses in following Keyland’s findings that local business parks are operating at full capacity.
We are now preparing to bring the site to market for the employment potential to be realised.
