Keyland shortlisted for the Climate Crisis Initiative Award at the national Property Week Residential Award

March 2023 – Shortlisted for national Property Week residential awards

The Keyland team is delighted to announce we are a Finalist of the national Property Week Residential Awards! We are up for the ‘Climate Crisis Initiative’ award for Our Blueprint Strategy and Six Capitals valuation model

This award is aimed at organisations and individuals working in the residential property sector that have implemented, completed or committed to a transformative ESG or climate-focused scheme, strategy or initiative in the past year.

In our industry, decisions are usually considered based on simply the financial aspects of a project, often at the expense of the other five capitals. We believe that a truly sustainable development will never be achieved if this remains the approach.

By embracing all Six Capitals (natural, social, human, intellectual, manufactured, and financial) we believe we can better understand, predict, and maximise the ‘Total Impact’ we can deliver. To do this we have developed a pioneering and innovative ‘Valuation Model’ that quantifies and monetises the Six Capitals benefits of our present and future developments, allowing us to benchmark and inform our design strategies, as well as make strategic business decisions across our portfolio.

At Keyland, our ‘Blueprint’ and ‘Six Capitals Valuation Model’ is integral to land appraisals, the development of project briefs, supply chain procurement and technical design reports. This allows us to plan and deliver exceptional places more effectively.

Keyland have worked with our sister company, Yorkshire Water, on the development of the Six Capitals Valuation Model. 3ADAPT have supported us with the technical delivery of the Model.
