Planning submitted for Sheffield housing development
Keyland and Mallard Homes unveil plans for new homes on former Yorkshire Water site
Keyland Developments Ltd, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister-company to Yorkshire Water, alongside sustainable Yorkshire housebuilder Mallard Homes, have submitted a planning application to Sheffield City Council for a new housing development.
Planning has been submitted to transform a redundant Yorkshire Water site north of Norton Lane in Norton, Sheffield into a new residential development of 13 homes. The proposals for the site, which has housing area allocation, include both detached and semi-detached houses of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms.
Mallard Homes’ sustainable approach to housebuilding aligns well with Keyland’s Six Capitals approach to sustainable development which places emphasis on living within natural limits whilst increasing social, human, intellectual, manufactured and financial value to deliver a more holistic approach.

This site is ideally located for a sensitive and sustainably delivered housing development. The full planning application has now been submitted and once validated by Sheffield City Council, a round of consultation will begin.
