Keyland Launches Strategic Sites to Market for Wind Farm Development

Keyland is pleased to announce that several strategically located land opportunities have been brought to the market for wind farm development, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon future.

Keyland is actively exploring opportunities to unlock land capable of delivering renewable energy projects that contribute to national net zero ambitions while creating long-term value for local communities and stakeholders.

Over recent months various sites totalling over 565 acres have been identified for their potential to support onshore wind energy generation and are being marketed to experienced developers and investors with a proven track record in delivering renewable energy infrastructure. Through this process, Keyland aims to work with partners who can maximise the environmental, economic and social benefits of these opportunities in line with the Six Capitals approach.

The launch reflects growing demand for renewable energy generation across the UK and increasing recognition of the role that onshore wind can play in enhancing energy security, reducing carbon emissions and supporting sustainable economic growth.

Keyland’s approach focuses on identifying land opportunities that align with planning policy objectives and environmental considerations. By bringing these sites to market, the company is seeking to facilitate the delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects that can make a meaningful contribution to the UK’s energy transition.
