A planning application has been approved for the development of 9 homes on a 1.5-acre open site adjacent to a Yorkshire Water reservoir in Kimberworth, Rotherham.

The site is located within the context of a suburban, residential area and the proposals seek consent to deliver a small residential development in-keeping with local character. In conjunction with the 1970`s development to the west of the site, Fellowship Way, the proposal aims to continue these residential properties to meet the reservoir to the east.

This forms a natural extension to the existing development and combines well to form a highly sustainable suburb with good links to the existing public transport network and infrastructure.

The site is currently being marketed by Thomas Stainthorpe at LSL.
